Breaking! Minister of Sports Meets Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr Today

Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare will meet with the Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr later today at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng can reveal.

The minister who held meeting with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, on Monday requested the federation to explain why Nigeria national have been having poor outings lately.

Thoúgh, the reason for today's meeting was not contained in a statement made available to www.bsnsports.com.ng by the media aide of the minister but recently there have been rumors that the federation may not extend the Super Eagles coach's contract.

Recently, the federation paid the outstanding salary of the coach and his good results for the three-time African champions suppose to earn him new contract.

The meeting is scheduled to hold at 3:00pm at the minister's office inside Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.

"Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr will meet with the Honourable Minister of Youth and Sports Development at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium by 3pm. The meeting is open for media coverage. Thanks." The statement reads.

Super Eagles are topping group L with 6 points from two matches.
