CAF Announces New Dates For U17, U20 Men's, Women's AFCON, World Cup Qualifiers

CAF on Wednesday announced new dates for the final FIFA U-17, U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The FIFA U17 Women's World Cup qualifiers were due to be played in May, 2020 but were cancelled after COVID-19 outbreak disrupted continental football calendar.
The new dates will see the first leg games take place between October 30 and November 1 and the reverse fixtures will be played between November 19 and November 21.
The FIFA U20 Women's World Cup qualifiers begin their qualification campaign in September, 2020. The CAF U17 Men's African Cup of Nations has been postponed to July, 2021 while the U20 AFCON qualifier hold from February to March 2021, while the CAF U20 qualifiers are slated for 2020.
In the FIFA U17 Women World Cup qualifier, Six nations were still in contention for Africa's three slots with Uganda set to battle it out against Cameroon, Ghana will take on neighbours Nigeria as South Africa lock horns with Morocco.
The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup was initially pencilled to be staged in India in November this but has been pushed to February next year.

Cameroon v Uganda
South Africa v Morocco
Nigeria v Ghana.
Meanwhile, CAF will communicate their amended fixtures for the continuation of 2021 AFCON and FIFA World Cup qualifiers with their member Associations. Though, some of the qualifiers will be played this year when Covid 19 situations in Africa improves.
