It was a day to forget for Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Brian Idowu as he suffered defeat on his debut for his new club FC Khimki, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Idowu moved to FC Khimki from another Russia side FC Lokomotiv Moscow on loan deal till the end of the season.

The Russia premier league resumed on Saturday, 29 days after last season ended.

The nation's capital side, CSKA Moscow visited FC Khimki who has Nigeria international on its lined up.

Kuchaev opened the scoring in the early minute before Dragoev netted the second on the stroke of half time to ensure a comfortable 0-2 win for the former champion.

Khimki will be the 4th team Idowu have represented in Russia having started his career with Smena-Zenith, then move to Amkar Perm and Lokomotiv Moscow.
