Super Eagles and Brighton and Hove Albion defender, Leon Balogun was happy for his club week 20 home win over Merseyside club, Everton, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Brighton pipped Everton 1-0 in the early kick off in one of the week 20 English Premier League encounters decided on Saturday at the American Express Community stadium.

Leon Balogun was an unused substitute but was happy for his team to end the year on a winning note. He took to his Twitter handle to express his happiness.

"Great way to finish the year at home with the 3! And what a massive result this is! Thanks for your amazing support so far and for making my first 6 months @OfficialBHAFC so special.
I’ll see you in 2019 - be good."

Brighton end the year with 25 points from 20 matches were 13th on the Premier League log.
