Bruisers, Ice Cold Win Abuja 3×3 International Basketball Challenge

Bruisers Basketball club and Ice Cold women basketball club have emerged champions at the 2019 Abuja 3×3 International Basketball Challenge, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The four-day tournament which took place at the Indoor Sports Hall of Moshood Abiola National Stadium saw Bruisers humiliated Ball Magician 22-4 in the male final on Sunday 13th October, 2019. In the female final on the same day, Ice Cold showed their superiority after winning Girls on Fire 21-11 to pick the gold medal.

The event which started on Thursday with 12 male teams and 11 female clubs registered for the tournament as Air Warriors defeated City Sparks 17-10 to win the bronze medal (3rd place match)

In the male 3rd place match, Ground Breakers defeated Grinders 10-9 to pick the bronze.

The champions of the 3×3 basketball tournament smile home with three hundred thousand (N300,000), runners-up won One hundred and fifty (N150,000) while 3rd position team collected One hundred thousand (N100,000) .

Godwin David of Bruisers won Thirty thousand (N30,000) for emerging winner in the Shooting contest having made 15 basket out of 20 in 2 minutes. Also Lucky Zume of Bruisers won Dunking contest and smiled home with Thirty thousand (N30,000) cash prize.
