BS AFCON 2021: Senegal Beat Mozambique To Retains Title By Sampson Adedeji Hosts Senegal successfully defended their title in the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations, Senegal 2021, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Beach Teranga Lions defeated Mozambique 4-1 in Saly to win their third successive title in the Beach Soccer AFCON after 2016 and 2018. A brace from Raoul Mendy guided Senegal to the final win, as they celebrated victory in front of their fans in the presence of CAF President, Dr. Patrice Motsepe. Despite losing the title, debutants Mozambique would celebrate reaching the final in their first ever Beach Soccer AFCON. Morocco won the bronze medals, after beating Uganda 5-3 in the third-place playoff earlier in the day.
