Bukola Olopade: A Light In The Dark of South West

Bukola
A light in the dark South West By Adewale Ajayi Visionary and very proactive. The one Yoruba man we trust can liberate the race and give his people a loud voice in football administration in Nigeria. He contested once in 2010, came so close but lost just when it mattered . Bukola Olopade is the wise one with the midas touch. He made over Two hundred million naira (N200m) avalaible for wheelchair basketball, also gave over One hundred million (N100m) to the Nigeria National League where he is currently the CEO but seem a little discouraged by some persons and looks very disenchanted presently. With the Lagos city marathon, Ozo as he is fondly called, has continued to break new grounds. He has made the impossible now possible and looks poised to leave his footprints in the sands of time. No sport administrator living or dead has achieved so much in the area of coporate sponsorship like Olopade. Yes, we remember vividly the exploits of Suleiman Baba Ali and Nkechi Obi in the buildup to the Olympic games over a decade ago but that came with some level of federal government support or fiat. This man has thrived without any of these and has gone about his job in silence . A graduate of the London Sports business school , an astute administrator and a passionate football fan . Only recently, his latest pet project Nilayo Fc was made public for the media.to adore and appreciate. We can only wait for that day when the strides of this man is appreciated. He is not one who is scared of challenges or responsibilities. Remember he hosted the best National sports festival ever in Gateway games 2006. He is always ready and i trust he will be out very soon to contest for something very juicy. Take a bow Bukola Olopade, the rising sun from a dark cloud.
