Bundesliga: Akpoguma Resume Training With Hoffeinheim

Team manager Sebatian Hoene at a press conference organised ahead of the match announced the resumption of Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Kelvin Akpoguma. The versatile defender sustained injury in a league match and has been out of action for almost a month. In his absence, the team backline has struggled and has also crashed out of the UEFA Europa League. Hoene confirmed that other injured player Ishak Befodil will probably be back on Saturday but remained silent if Akpoguma will feature against Wolfsburg. Akpoguma resumption will gladden the heart of the Nigeria's Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr as his one of the player expected to be invited for 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
