Bundesliga: Collins Tests Negative As Paderborn Resume Training

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Jamiu Collins alongside his teammates on Tuesday returned to training after German government allow the teams to resume.

Before the suspension of the league, Paderborn was struggling at the other end of the table but hope to survive the drop when the league return, BSN Reports.

The players underwent a compulsory covid19 test before resumption.

"Paderborn players and the supervisory staff have been tested twice for the coronavirus in the past few days and twice there have been consistently negative test results,” a statement on the club’s website said.

“That is why head coach Steffen Baumgart is back in team training with his team this afternoon (Tuesday), taking into account the requirements of the authorities and taking into account the recommendations of the German Football League," the club statements reads.
