By Sampson Adedeji
Despite playing just two games for the German Bundesliga side FC Koln, manager of the Club Markus Gisdol is already praising the Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Dennis, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Dennis joined the German club on loan last week from the Belgium Jupiler League side Club Brugge and was thrown into the thick of action last weekend.
He gave a good account of himself in Saturday 2-0 over Arminia Belefeld before he was subbed off.
Dennis opened his goal for the club on Wednesday night a they crashed out of the DFB Pokal via penalty shoot out against lower division division side Jagn Ragensburg.
Gisdol praised him and hope the rest of the team can live up to expectations and help the Nigerian.
"Dennis is someone who gives hope. He can go one-on-one, he goes at goal with speed. I'm glad he's here. However, he won't shoulder the entire attack alone," he said.
The Nigeria international is expected to lead the line again when Koln face Borrusia Mochengladbach at the Volkswagen Arena on Saturday.
