Nigeria's Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Dennis have rated German Bundesliga better than Belgium Jupiler League in his recent assessment, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Dennis joined German Bundesliga side FC Koln during the winter transfer window in January from the Jupiler League side Club Brugge on a short term deal.
While speaking to the Belgium news outlets, Dennis admitted that is still following the progress of Club Brugge in the UEFA Europa League.
“I am not satisfied with my performance,” says Dennis to Het Nieuwsblad.
“I can definitely do more than I have shown so far. I have to be patient, stay positive and keep working hard. Sometimes things don't go the way you want in football. That is also the case in life. But I remain positive. ”
I don't believe in stepping back in football.
It is important that you find and play joy in the game. Of course I still follow Club in the Europa League.
It is great what they do, but I am now with another club and I can be happy here too. ”
“The Bundesliga is an exciting competition. In Belgium, many matches were boring.
Club Brugge is top, but the other teams have fully adapted to that. This is not the case in Germany.
Every team always goes full throttle, even when they play against Bayern or Dortmund.
That impressed me. There is always positive football here," he said.
