As the curtains fell in the German Bundesliga, Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Anthony Ujah and his compatriot Suleiman Abdullahi were on score sheet for Union Berlin in their 3-0 home win over Fortuna Dusseldorf, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

BSN Sports reports that German league was the first to return after Covid 19 halted the leagues across the world in mid-March, and the two Nigerians ended the season on a good note helping Union Berlin to a comfortable home win.

In the last match day of the season, Union Berlin played host to Fortuna Düsseldorf and it was Ujah who dictated the game.

He capped his impressive display in 27th minute with superb finish as host ended the half on a sound note.

Gentner added the second goal in the 55th minute before Suleiman Abdullahi completed the 3-0 emphatic win in the 90th minute of the game.

Apart from Union Berlin, Ujah has also played for Mainz 05 also in Germany Bundesliga.

Union Berlin ended the season on 11th on the log with 41 points from 34 matches.
