CAF Announces Date For Champions League, Confederation Cup Draws

Just as the Champions League and Confederation cup reached its last match days, the Confederation of African football ( CAF) has announced date for the knockout round of the competition.

16 teams splits into 4 groups are playing in the tournament and 8 likely teams from each competition that will make it to the next round are gradually showing up.

The African soccer governing body confirmed 5th of February as the date for the draw of the two competitions its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

No Nigeria clubs is playing in the Champions league, while its only champions Enyimba that may likely progress into the knockout round of the CAF confederations cup as other representative Enugu Rangers has been eliminated.

Meanwhile, the body also said the host cities for the final of the competition will also be announce on the day of the draw.
