CAF appoint Cape Verde referee for Super Eagles final AFCON 2019 qualifier against Seychelles

  The Confederation of African Football has appointed no-nonsense Cape Verde center referee Fabricio Duarte for this month upcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Seychelles in Asaba. The 32-year-old FIFA accredited referee was named for dead rubber last Group E game encounter at Stephen Keshi Stadium and will be assisted by fellow country men, Jose Carlos Alexandre Pins Mendes (Assistant Referee 1) and Delgado Fernandes Wilson Jorge (Assistant Referee 2). Having qualified already, Super Eagles will be hoping to cement their first position as South Africa and Libya jostle for the second qualification slot in the group. The game between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Seychelles will hold at the Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba, Delta State scheduled for Friday, March 22 before taking on African Cup of Nations host nation in an international friendly scheduled for the same stadium four days later.
