  CAF CC: Defending champions Berkane Out, JS Kabylie And Coton Sport Progress By Admin Total CAF Confederation Cup defending champions RS Berkane have been dumped out of this year's edition in the group stages after a 1-0 loss away to Zambia's Napsa Stars on Wednesday. The loss sees Berkane remain third in the standings with five points and with one round of group matches left, they cannot catch up with JS Kabilye and Coton Sport who are both on nine points. Napsa meanwhile picked up their first group stage win with Doisy Soko's 53rd minute goal making all the difference. Meanwhile, Algerian side Kabylie moved top of Group B after a 2-1 away victory over 10-man Coton Sport in Garoua, with both sides progressing to the last eight. The Cameroonians had to play 33 minutes of the game with 10 men after Sanou Sibiri was sent off for a second bookable offense and Kabilye took advantage of the numerical superiority to score two quick goals. Rida Bensayah opened the scoring in the 63rd minute before he turned provider to set up defender Walid Bencherifa for the second five minutes later. Tombi Alemi scored for the home side from the spot in the 89th minute but they could not muster a comeback to get a point off the match. The result sees Kabylie move to nine points on top of Group B, same as Coton Sport but set apart by their head to head record. Meanwhile in South Africa, home side Orlando Pirates were held to a frustrating draw by visiting ES Setif, a result that leaves them with nine points, but yet to confirm their place in the last four from Group A. A win would have confirmed their place in the knockout phase. Setif remain third in the standings with five points.
