Enyimba International remains the only Nigeria club in the competition after progressing on away goal rule having held Bidvest Wits of South Africa to a goalless draw in Calabar after the first leg had ended 1-1 in Johannesburg. This outing means that Mozambique have replaced Nigeria in the ranking as nations that will provide 2 teams each in the 2019 CAF Champions League and CAF Confeferation Cup.
