CAF CC: Rangers return from Sousse clash, set for Enugu battle

Nigeria's sole representative at the CAF Confederation Cup, Rangers International FC arrived the country yesterday from Tunisia where they were beaten 2-1 by Etoile Sportive du SAHEL in Matchday 3 of the competition, Bsn Sports can report.
The defeat was Rangers's first loss in the competition and the team is optimistic of turning around the result in Enugu on Sunday.
The team delegation arrived Muritala Mohammed International Airport Lagos yesterday by 9:45pm and reached their base, Enugu this morning.
In series of twits confirming the delegation's return, the club thanked supporters and called on them to troop out en mass on Sunday at their "slaughter house", Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium when they will take on the Tunisian giants in a return leg of the CAF Confederation Cup Matchday 4.
"Our gallant warriors on the pitch touched down at MMIA, Lagos at about 9:45pm this night aboard a Turkish airlines and would be in Enugu by God's grace on Wednesday. We are Rangers!! We fear no foe," the club first twitted before coforming their arrival at Enugu with another twit saying "The delegation to Sousse, Tunisia is safely back in the coal city of Enugu to continue preparations for the reverse fixture. It's a matchday 4 CCC encounter slated for N.A.S. KICKOFF: 2:00PM.
"Our next game is a match day 4 CAF Confederation Cup encounter with Etoile Sportive du SAHEL of Tunisia fixed for Nnamdi Azikiwe stadium, Enugu on Sunday, March 3, 2019. Come and watch scintillating football as Rangers get back on the winning way."
Rangers currently occupy 3rd position in Group B of the competition with 4 points from three matches.
