CAF CC: Rangers Target Win Against Al-Masry

Nigeria representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Rangers international have concluded plans to pick maximum points against visiting Al-Masry of Egypt on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
Rangers head coach, Salisu Yusuf made this known when addressing journalists ahead of the dead rubber game. He stated that a win will motivate his boys when they return back to concentrate on the domestic league.
Enugu Rangers were paired in Group A with Pyramid and Al-Masry of Egypt and Nouadhibou of Mauritania; Rangers finished in third position earning 5 points from 5 games.
The NPFL side will face Al-Masry of Egypt today in the last group stage encounter and the Captain of club Tope Olusesi has said that the team will play for pride and will work on their winning mentality.
"The only motivation we have is that we want to continue winning, and that is a great motivation because it would be another motivation for us in our league, so I think it is going to be a top game like always but even them after qualifying still want to come here and get something. We are going to give them a good fight and I hope at the end we have a good result."
He was also positive about the team chances of securing a spot in the continental at the end of the season.
"We are being confident we can reach that level, and even in the league our team is more stronger that the teams in the Continent. We still have some games to play, tomorrow's game will be like the sixth game to play and we fighting well will place us in some better position and we can take on from there."
The Coach of the team salisu Yusuf has said that the game will enable them to perfect their tactics and strategies.
"We want to win and at the same time using the game to perfect our strategy and tactics for the NPFL".
He also said that irrespective of the players chosen by the opponents, the tactics of the team remains the same.
"Our tactics remain our tactics irrespective of the players used by the opponent and that's how we want to play and any team that has gotten to this level is a good team and everybody deserve the same respect."
Salisu Yusuf also spoke concerning injury issues facing the teams, where he ascertain that only the Left full back is injured and there is a replacement for him.
Rangers sit currently on number 16 in the NPFL with 15 points from 12 games and having 5 outstanding games left.
