Enyimba international and Raja Casablanca will today lock horns in the Caf Confederation Cup semi-final clash and the LMC boss tips the People's Elephants to reach the final.
Shehu Dikko says there is nothing special about Raja Casablanca as he backs Enyimba to subdue the Morrocans in the Caf Confederation Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
Having eliminated Rayon Sports, the People's Elephant welcome the Moroccans to Aba for the first leg on October 3 and will travel for the second leg in Casablanca three weeks later.
And the League Management Company boss is backing Usman Abdullah's men for glory as he believes the club's progress will improve the nation's fortunes in Caf club competitions.
"It is quite unfortunate that our clubs had a poor run, but thank God for Enyimba," Dikko told media.
"This is why everybody has to rally Enyimba in their quest to win the CAF Confederation Cup. Moving forward, I'm sure the fortunes of our clubs on the continent will improve.
“There is nothing special about Raja Casablanca. I see Enyimba beating them and going all the way to do the country proud by lifting the cup. I'm really impressed with the performance of the club.
"The good thing is that they have kept improving with every game and their return home to Aba has boosted their confidence. They should approach the first leg at home with confidence and get a good result.”
