  CAF Champions League: Al-Mereikh Star Player Injured By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the first leg, first round of the CAF Champions League, the opponent of Nigeria's representative Enyimba international, Al Mereikh of Sudan will miss one of its key player for the tie, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Sudanese giants scheduled a date with Enyimba after they defeated AS Otoho of Congo 3-1 on aggregate. Midfielder Ahmed Hamid Alish has been confirmed to have sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury which has ruled him out of the tie. Ahmed played a key role in the second leg of game played at the Al Hilal stadium and helped Al Mereikh to a 2-0 win. The first leg of the clash with People's Elephant is slated for later in December with return leg in January 2021
