Chairman, Kano Pillars FC Alhaji Suraj Shuaibu has said that winning Aiteo Cup by the team has sent fears into the spine of Asanti Kotoko, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The newly appointed chairman made this known while addressing the players in Kaduna as the team are wrapping up preparations for the first leg of the 2019/20 CAF Champions League first round tie against Asante Kotoko slated for Sanni Abacha stadium, Kano.

He is confident that Kano Pillars will sail through the hurdle and will go far in the competition.

"Kano Pillars in Nigeria is a threat to other teams, all teams in Nigeria are afraid of us. Even the team we are going to play in the Champions League (Asante Kotoko) which have been existing for about seventy -something years are afraid of Kano Pillars." Surajo told www.bsnsports.com.ng
