CAF Champions League: CR Belouizdad Receives Algerian Ligue Title Ahead Akwa United Face off

The 2021 Champions of the Algerian Ligue and opponent of Akwa United FC of Nigeria in the CAF Champions League preliminary round, CR Belouizdad have received their trophy one week after the completion of the 2020/2021 Algerian Football Ligue season.
The trophy presentation which was meant to take place on August 24 at the end of the CR Belouizdad - US Biskra (4-2) match was postponed due to the lack of lighting at the August 20 stadium in Algiers.
Chemseddine Nessakh, captain of CR Belouizdad on Wednesday, September 1st received the trophy on behalf of the team in a ceremony that took place at the Club des Pins International Conference Center in the presence of the President of the Algerian Football Federation, Charafeddine Amara, the President of the Professional Football League, Abdelkrim Medouar, and many other guests.
Meanwhile, the Chabab still without a coach after the departure of Zoran Manojlovic had their second training session on Thursday ahead of the CAF Champions League first round first leg clash against Nigerian Champions Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Sunday, September 12.
