Caf Champions League: Jaaraf Beat Salitas To Move Top Of Group C By Admin Senegal’s Jaaraf FC have moved top of Group C in the Total CAF Confederation Cup after seeing off Burkina Faso side Salitas by a solitary goal on Monday afternoon, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Papa Paye scored the lone goal in the 10th minute, scoring his second against Salitas having also found the back of the net when the two sides clashed in the first leg a week ago. With the slim victory, Jaaraf who are playing continental football for the first time since 2014 have kept their hopes of progressing to the quarter finals alive as they move top of the group with seven points, one ahead of second place, CS Sfaxien with two rounds of group matches left. Salitas remain bottom of the pile with just three points off one win with the rest of the three games ending in defeat. The Senegalese side can book a dream quarter final slot if they pick a win at home against third placed Etoile du Sahel in match day five on April 21.
