CAF Champions League: Kano FA Suspends Matches At Sanni Abacha Stadium

Kano state Football Association has suspended all local matches at Sani Abacha stadium Kofar Mata, Kano for CAF Champions League, BSN Sports.com.ng can report.
This was contained in a statement singed by the secretary of the Association Alhaji Shehu Buhari shortly after the Board's meeting of the Association on Thursday in the state's capital.
BSN Sports reports that the statement said the suspension was necessary considering that Kano Pillars Football Club would play its home matches in this year's African champions league at the Sanni Abacha stadium.
The Association urged kano state government to put more efforts in renovating the stadium to meet the CAF standard before the commencement of the championship.
It then congratulated 'Sai Masu Gida' for getting Continental slot and urged them to work hard to win this year's Aiteo/Federation cup.
The Association also congratulates the owner of sky Academy football club, Engineer Mannir Ahmad Gwarzo for his appointment as Managing Director of state water resources engineering and construction company( WRECA) by the state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
