CAF Changes Date For Champions League, Confederation Cup Group Stage Draws Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup Enyimba international and Rivers United are set to know their group opponents in the competition if they scale the playoff hurdles, BSNsports.com.ng can report. According to the report coming from CAF headquarter in Cairo, the football body has decided to change the initial dates for the draws as well as other competitions. The reports suggest that the Champions League and Confederation Cup competitions draws will hold on December 28, instead of the 23rd of the same month, due to the association of the members of the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football to travel to prepare for the super match scheduled to be held in Doha capital of Qatar. The Champions League and Confederation Cup will start on February 15th, 2022. Meanwhile, the African Super Cup match between Al Ahly of Egypt and Raja Casablanca of Morocco was initially scheduled for February 2022 has been brought forward to December 24th, 2021.
