  CAF Confederation Cup: Rivers United Storm South Africa By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the first leg, first round of the CAF Confederation Cup against South Africa Premier League side, Bloemfontein Celtic, Nigeria's representative Rivers United, have landed in South Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The 38-man delegation led by Commissioner for youth and sports, Boma Iyaye, departed the shore of the country in the early hours of Sunday via Air Peace airline and touch down around 10:24am. Bloemfontein Celtics were drawn bye in the preliminary round of the competition while Rivers United relied on penalty shoot out to overcome hard fighting Futuro Kings of Equatorial Guinea. The South Africans are in high spirit after playing a 1-1 draw against Kaizers Chief in the South Africa Premier League. The match is slated for Molemela stadium on Wednesday 6pm Nigeria time.
