CAFCC: Rivers United Wallop Bloemfontein Celtics Set Up Enyimba Clash

Nigeria's representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Rivers United continued its impressive run in the competition on Saturday as they recorded a comprehensive victory over South African Bloemfontein Celtics, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The game was rescheduled to 23rd of January in Cotonou after it could not be played at the original date of 6th of January due to covid 19 restrictions.
It was inform midfielder, Godwin Aguda who set the tone for a victory as he opened the scoring early in the game.
He completed his brace before half time and gave Pride of Rivers a comfortable lead going into the locker room.
Striker Fortune Omoniwari netted the 3rd goal later in the second half and put the game beyond Celtics.
The result means Rivers United progress into the play off round 5-0 on aggregate having won the first leg 2-0 in South Africa.
Meanwhile, Rivers United will face Nigeria opposition, Enyimba international in the play off round of the competition for a place at the group stage.
