CAF Considering Postponement of 2021 AFCON

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Executives will be meeting on Tuesday to take some key decisions regarding Africa Football both at international and club level.

Football has been on halt since mid-March due to outbreak of Corona virus which affected inter-club competitions and 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifiers.

According to feelers, Africa soccer governing body might announce postponement of the 2021 African Cup Of Nations which earlier schedule to hold in January/February 2021 to later in the year or 2022.

Countries across the continent have only played two matches out of the compulsory six group matches and CAF is still unsure when the qualifiers will resume.

Apart from 2021 African Cup Of Nations, decisions will also come on CHAN 2020, inter-club competitions, Underage competitions and African Cup Of Nations for Women.
