CAF Delegation Storm Cameroon For Inspection Ahead 2022 AFCON By Sampson Adedeji CAF delegation will arrive in the Cameroonian capital, Yaounde on Friday morning to start an inspection tour of the country in preparation for the Total Africa Cup of Nations that will be held in Cameroon next year, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The inspection tour will begin on Saturday 22 May 2021 in Yaounde. The delegation includes experts from various fields including competitions, events, marketing, television broadcasting, media, hospitality, security and many other departments that are essential in organizing a world championship. With the support of FIFA experts, the delegation will assess the state of readiness in the country as well as discuss with specialists from the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) about possible technical support required. The purpose of the visit is to ensure that the facilities under refurbishment or under construction meet with CAF standards. CAF leadership has already indicated that they want the 2022 edition of the Total Africa Cup of Nations to be one of the best tournaments ever.
