CAF Emergency Committee To Meet In Early April

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Emergency Committee has scheduled to meet in early April to decide on the suspended competitions and 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier.

The Africa soccer governing body decided to suspend CAF Champions League, Confederation Cup and AFCON qualifiers following the outcome of Corona virus around the world and Africa in particular, BSN Reports.

The reports coming from CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt has it that some key decisions will be taken.

The decisions includes;

  1. 2021 AFCON qualifiers may be shifted to September/October
  1. Champions League semis may be played in Cameroon and final to be played second day.
  2. CHAN 2020 May also be put off.

2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier is also slated to start later in the year.
