CAF Executive Members Schedule Meeting For Playoffs Draw Date

Despite announcing December 18th as the draw date for the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifier, the Executive Committee African soccer governing body (CAF) is set to meet on the date, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
After rigorous matches, 10 countries namely: Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Egypt, Algeria, Senegal, DR Congo, Tunisia, Morocco and Mali qualified for the playoffs
According to the statements coming from CAF headquarters in Cairo Egypt, the meeting is slated for next week where key decisions will be taken concerning the playoff.
“The dates for the play-offs for the Africa qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 will be announced at the end of the CAF Executive Committee meeting scheduled for next week in Cairo.
The teams will be distributed according to the FIFA Coca Cola ranking. The meeting of the Executive Committee will be held on November 25, 2021 - on the eve of the Extraordinary General Assembly of CAF also scheduled in Cairo on Friday, November 26 2021, specifies the umbrella body," the statement reads.
The playoffs have been fixed for March 2022 and 5 qualified countries will represent the continent in the Mundial slated for November 2022
