  CAF: First Vice-President Replaces Ahmad Ahmad By Sampson Adedeji The reports coming from the headquarters of the Africa soccer governing body ( CAF) indicated that Vice president of the body Contant Omari has been asked to replace recuperating president Ahmad Ahmad, BSNSports.com.ng can report . The Malagasy football Supremo was on Thursday released from Egypt hospital after he recovered from Corona virus which has kept him isolated for few weeks. Ahmad has been asked to take an adequate in his country before resuming for official duties. According to the reports Omari will take position tithe 30th of November, 2020. "First Vice-President, Mr. Omari Constant will take the interim lead of the CAF executive until 30th November 2020. This decision is set out in Article 24 paragraph 8 of the statute, which states that « If the President is absent or temporarily unavailable, the first Vice-President shall deputise", CAF confirmed.
