CAF Has No Plan To Play Inter Club Competition Behind Closed Door - Bah

Despite the outbreak of Corona virus, the Confederation of African ( CAF) has confirmed that both CAF Champions League and Confederation cup remaining matches will not be played behind closed door.

The outbreak of virus has ensured the stoppage of key football league and matches across the world but World Health Organization ( WHO) believed African countries are not on the high risk list of the virus, BSN Reports

Acting Secretary General of the football body Abdel Bah said they are considering different option but says playing behind closed door is not an option.

“Regarding coronavirus, the finals are scheduled end of May, for the moment. we maintain these dates.

… but of course we will take all needed measures, according to the évolution of this crisis. We have different options, but having the finals played behind closed doors is not an option, as of today.

The two competitions is already in the semi final stage with with being played as a one legged affair at a neutral venue.
