CAF may cancel CHAN 2020

if the reports emanating from the Confederation of African Football headquarter is to be considered, then much awaited Championship of African Nations (CHAN 2020) may not hold in 2020.

In recent time, the competition has been going through many struggles due to it clash with many top leagues in the continent.

On Thursday, the Tunisia Football Federation (TFF) announced the withdrawal of its local team from the competition due to clubs in the country refusing to release their players.

The Super Eagles B team were not among the countries that will take part in the biennial tournament after they crashed out to Togo in the qualifier.

If the competition is stopped eventually it may have adverse effect on the host Cameroon who want to use the competition to test run its facilities for 2021 African Cup of Nations.
