By Sampson Adedeji
Following a recommendation from the Organising Committee of the CAF inter club competition, the Africa soccer ruling body has decided to modify the suspension rules.
Former rule stated that the player will go on suspension for an immediate game after receiving 2 yellow cards in back to back games.
But the new rules agree on indicated that a player can only be suspended for immediate game if he receives 3 yellow cards in three back to back matches .
The rules on red card remained unchanged but 3 red cards or 9 yellow cards in a single competition means the player will be suspended for the whole duration of the tournament.
