CAF Names Cairo As Super Cup Host

  CAF: Cairo To Host Super Cup By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the CAF Champions League final between two Egyptian Premier League giants, Al Ahly and Zamalek, the African soccer governing body has announced Cairo as host city for the next edition of the Super Cup, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The announcement was made on Friday afternoon just seven days before the final of the 2019/20 Champions League. The capital city of Qatar, Doha held the last two editions of the Super Cup due to some circumstances. CAF further stated that the next edition of the Super Cup will just be one-off play at Cairo international stadium. Winner of the CAF Confederation Cup, RS Berkane of Morocco awaits the winner of the Champions League final after conquering Egyptian side FC Pyramids in the final.
