CAF Postpones African Women's Cup of Nations Qualifiers By Sampson Adedeji Just like the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, the Africa soccer governing body has decided to postpone the qualifiers of the 2022 African Women's Cup Of Nations (AWCON) , BSNSports.com.ng reports. CAF few days shifted the 2022 World Cup qualifiers earlier scheduled for June 2021 due to non-availability of standard stadia. The draws for AWCON was conducted last week and qualifier was slated to kick off in June but the reports coming from CAF headquarters in Cairo stipulated that the qualifiers has been moved to October. The reason for the shift in time was because of non-availability of standard stadia and facilities. The draw conducted Nigeria's Super Falcons were drawn against rivals Black Queens of Ghana in the first round of the qualifier. Morocco will host the 2022 African Women Cup Of Nations.
