CAF Postpones CHAN 2020

The Confederation of African Football ( CAF) has postponed the upcoming 2020 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) due to Corona virus.

Africa soccer governing body last week announced the postponement of 2021 African Cup Of Nations qualifier indefinitely despite clearance from World Health Organization (WHO), BSN Reports

The qualified teams are already in camp getting ready for the competition but the withdrawal of some teams prompted CAF into the postponement of the competition.

The tournament is slated to commence on 4th till 25th of April, 2020.

The proposed time for the competition now is June 2020 and CAF believed the virus issues would have been get over by then.
