  CAF Postpones Rivers United Versus Celtics Confederation Cup Tie By Sampson Adedeji Africa soccer governing body, CAF has acknowledged the receipt of the letter sent by Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) seeking the postponement of the CAF Confederation Cup match involving Rivers United and Bloemfontein Celtics of South Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The second leg match was earlier scheduled for Wednesday 6th of January, 2021 at the Adokie Amaisiemaka Stadium in Port-Harcourt. But due to the Coronavirus restrictions placed on some countries like where the number of Covid 19 victims is high,  Bloemfontein Celtics players and officials may have to be quarantined of go through Covid 19 at the airport in Nigeria. NFF through its Secretary General sent a letter to CAF on Tuesday seeking the postponement of the match to another suitable date or change of the venue to a neighbouring country as government directive. CAF on Tuesday night acknowledged the letter and agreed to the postponement but said they will meet and decide on the case in due time.
