CAF Proposes Two Dates For Inter-club Competitions

Football governing body across the world continue to brainstorm on ways to restart football without spreading the corona virus and Africa countries are not left out in the development.

Countries across the continent has been working on modalities to resume their various leagues ahead of CAF inter-club competitions.

In this light, the Africa soccer governing body on Monday proposed two different dates for the suspended Champions League and Confederation cup.

The two competitions has been on suspension immediately after the quarter final due to the outbreak of Corona virus.

Two proposed dates by CAF to resume CAFCL & CAFCC includes

Scenario 1

SEMI-FINALS:
1st Leg: 31 July & 1, 2 Aug.
2nd Leg: 7, 8, 9 Aug.
Confederation Cup Final: 23 Aug.
Champions League Final: 28 Aug.

Scenario 2

SEMI-FINALS
1st Leg: 4, 5, 6 Sep.
2nd Leg: 11, 12, 13 Sep.
CAF Confederation Cup Final: 23 Sep.
Champions League Final: 25 Sep.

The dates for the new season competitions is yet to be determine.
