CAF Releases Champions League Quarter Final Draws

Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Wednesday released the quarter final draws for the 2019/20 CAF Champions League, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

Football fans across the world will have their hands full as the quarter final pairings are games to watch and leave pundits on the fence as it is difficult to predict eventual winners who progress to semi finals

Traditional African club team, Al-Ahly will trade tackles with South African giants, Mamelodi Sundowns while last season finalists, Wydad Casablanca face former champions Etoile de Sahel of Tunisia.

The Chloorkop-based side will meet Egyptian Premier League giants Al Ahly away from home in what will be a revenge affair for the Egyptians following their 5-0 drubbing in last year's quarter-final clash in Pretoria.

Zamalek of Egypt, one of the most successful club in Africa will lock horns with their North-African counterparts and former champions, Esperance of Tunisia.

Al Ahly v Mamelodi Sundowns

Zamalek v Esperance Sportive Tunisia

Raja Casablanca v TP Mazembe

Wydad Casablanca v Etoile de Sahel.

Meanwhile, the first leg matches will be staged between February 28 and 29 with the second leg clashes set for March 6-7 2020.
