CAF Reopens Bidding Process For Beach Soccer

After careful considerations, Africa soccer governing body (CAF), has reopened the bidding process for the upcoming Beach Soccer competition for Africa countries, BSNSports.com.ng reports .

The bidding process has opened since late 2019 but has to be closed due to outbreak of Coronavirus across the continent.

Interested countries who ready to host the 8-team tournament can continue to apply and they have till July 31, 2020 when the bidding process will closed.

The competition proper has been slated for between December 2020 to April, 2021.

Nigeria is one of the leasing country when it comes to beach soccer in the continent but it left to be seen if the country will participate in the next edition of the competition after the Nigeria Football Federation suspended the country participation in the competition late 2019.
