CAF Super Cup: Raja Casablanca shock Esperance, Lift Trophy

CAF Confederation Cup champion, Raja Casablanca of Morocco on Friday in Doha defeated CAF Champions League champion Esperance of Tunisia 2-1.
In a keenly contested match, it was Abdelilah Hafidi that opened the scoring through a fine finish in the 22nd minute.
After a 1-0 first half lead, Yousef Belaili brought the game level for Esperance in the 57th minute before Badr Benanoun made it 2-1 7 minutes later in favour of Raja Casablanca.
The last time Esperance won the Super Cup was in 1995 when they defeated Motema Pembe of DR Congo 3-1.
