The Football body last week held a meeting with the Football Association presidents and the representatives of top clubs in the continent where the decision to stage the competition was agreed upon. CAF on Thursday announced a mouth-watering cash reward for the competition. According to the report, each of the 24 participating teams will get $1 million each while the winner will receive a whopping $10 million. The football body also confirmed that the winner will get to represent the continent in the World club cup against the winner of the champions league that has been representing the continent in the past.
