CAF To Hold Emergency Meeting In December

Following the latest development rocking the body, Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has announced that the body will conduct an emergency Executive Committee meeting which comes up in December 11th 2020, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The world soccer governing body (FIFA) on Monday suspended the incumbent president of CAF, Ahmad Ahmad, and first Vice President, Constant Omari of DR Congo was placed in charge of affairs in interim basis.
The meeting which was initially slated to be held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia will now come up via video conferencing and it will be directed from CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
Matters concerning the latest development rocking the confederation will be discussed and next election will also top of the agenda.
After the suspension of Ahmad, Mamelodi Sundown Patrice Motsepe, Jacque Anouma of Coted'ivoire and two other contestants are still in the race for the top position of the body.
