CAF Women Champions League: Players Welfare Must Be Paramount - Oshoala

Nigeria's Super Falcons and FC Barcelona Femino striker Asisat Oshoala has stated the welfare of the women players should be taken serious for the proposed Women CAF champions league to go well.

Africa soccer governing body earlier in the week confirmed that women CAF Champions will be establish in the year 2021, BSN Reports.

Some footballing nations across Africa has embrace the idea and see it as a welcome development.

Former FC Robo player during a Instagram live chat said the players welfare must be prioritised to the best of the them.

“Welfare is important you can’t put women on the road at night travelling…when I say welfare it has to do with the salary, feeding, transport”, she said.

CAF is yet to release the modalities that will be used to pick teams that will represent each participating countries.
