CAF Women's Champions League: Rivers Angels Depart For Egypt

Nigeria's representative in the maiden edition of the African Women's Champions League, Rivers Angels, have departed the country for Cairo, Egypt, venue of the competition, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The Nigeria champions qualified for the tournament after they finished as the first runner up in the West African Football Union (WAFU) B qualifier.
They lost in the final to Hassacass Ladies of Ghana but did enough to secure passage to the inaugural edition of the champions league.
They left Nigeria on Thursday morning through Murtala Mohammed International Airport and will arrive in Cairo later in the day.
They are in group B alongside Vihiga Queens of Kenya, ASFAR FC of Morocco and Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa.
The competition will start on the 5th of November through the 19th of November.
