CAFCC : Tornadoes, Rangers get favourable draws

Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Sunday in Cairo held draws for the 2019/2020 CAF Confederation cup and two Nigeria representatives, Aiteo cup finalist Niger Tornadoes and Enugu Rangers are not left out.
BSN Sports reports that Tornadoes, having qualified for the Aiteo Federation Cup final, automatically earned them CAF Confederation ticket as their Aiteo Cup finalists, Kano Pillars finished second in the NPFL Super 6 play off that was held in Lagos and picked CAF Champions league ticket.
The Ikon Allah boys side were drawn against a Guinea side Santoba Conakry with Tornadoes hosting the first leg on 9-11 August 2019 and second leg in Conakry fortnight later.
The winner of Tornadoes, Santoba tie will contend with Ivorian side San Pedro in the round of the tournament fixed for September.
Meanwhile, Nigeria's second representatives Enugu Rangers will enter the competition in the second round after they were drawn bye in the first round.
The Flying Antelopes will face the winner of AS Pelican ( Gabon) and AS Maniema Union ( DR Congo) with first leg away from home.
The first leg of second round is fixed for 13-15 September 2019 with second leg coming up in two weeks later.
Rangers crashed out of last season CAF Confederation cup at the group stage of the competition.
