Rivers United will squeal up against South Africa side, Bloemfontein Celtic in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup after scaling through from the first round qualification, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
After the victory, United forward, Godwin Aguda gave thanks to God after the tricky 2-0 penalty shoot-out against Equatorial Guinea side Futuro Kings. Prior to the penalty, both teams were paired at a 3 -3 aggregate scoreline.
Aguda who was on scoresheet for United 2-1 full-time win for his second of the competition.
"It was a game that turned out harder than expected but i was happy that my team crrusie to the next round via penalty shoot out with the visiting side missing all four taken kick from the penalty spot", Aguda stated.
