CAFCC: ASC Jaaraf Shoot Down Kano Pillars

It was a bad start for one of Nigeria representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, Kano Pillars as they were thrashed 3 -1 by Senegalese side ASC Jaaraf, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Pillars arrived Dakar, the Capital city of Senegal with a lot of optimism but it was never meant to be as they succumbed to the superior power of the host.
Despite the hosts dominating the opening proceedings, it was Pillars who drew the first blood in the 12th minute through Ebuka David.
The lead only lasted five minute as Zaki Bassene scored a leveler in the 17th minute before Samba Diallo put Jaaraf in the driving seat in the 38th minute.
Lumbasse Gulye made it 3 -1 in the 80th minute and all the efforts of Pillars to reduce the deficit proved abortive as the game ended .
Pillars will require a 2 goal gap in the second leg to progress into the first round of the competition.
The return leg is slated for next weekend in Nigeria.
